Academy Award winner Whoopi Goldberg stars as an undercover cop who wages a blistering personal war against a ruthless Los Angeles drug ring in this no-holds-barred action comedy.

Goldberg brings her irresistible blend of quirky comedy and tough-as-nails demeanor to her role as narcotics detective Rizzoli, an accomplished though unconventional crime fighter. When a new – and very deadly – form of cocaine hits the streets, Rizzoli suspects a prominent businessman as the ringleader. But while she’s investigating him, he assigns his bodyguard (Sam Elliott) to track her every move. Soon, a whirlwind game of cat and mouse begins, eventually leading them to a huge narcotics buy scheduled to occur at a popular public hangout.
