The incredibly multi-talented Danny Kaye stars as Hans Christian Andersen, a young cobbler with a special gift for storytelling. It is a wonderful musical tale about this spinner of stories; a lovely family picture that will teach and delight both young and old.

Nominated for six Academy Awards, this story follows Hans as he weaves his tales of magic to the children of Copenhagen. It features the heartwarming songs of Frank Loesser including “Thumbelina”, “Inchworm” and “Ugly Duckling.” Hans dances, sings and falls in love with a beautiful ballerina, all the while taking you on a journey through his amazing imagination.
