The Arrival: In the early 1800's the Robinson family is shipwrecked and washed ashore on a tropical isle. They re-unite, only to find one of the children, Franz, is missing. As they search for the lost child they discover the natural beauty and wildlife of the island. This leads them to realize that building a treehouse will provide them shelter from the elements and wild predators that inhabit the island.

The Skeleton Clue: Father takes up formal school sessions for the children, who find the challenge of island life more interesting. Given a holiday, the children dig for treasure and find a skeleton and a chain of clues that lead them to an important discovery.

A Time To Live & A Time To Die: The family rescues and protects a nanny goat which is being attacked by a panther. Later, they share the joys and sorrows at the birth of the goat's kid.
