Sarah Whittaker is young, wealthy, gorgeous, witty and bright - but she is also, according to the courts, her mother, and more than one reputable psychiatrist, a certified paranoid schizophrenic. She asks  attorney Matthew Hope, who finds her delightfully, compellingly sane, to become her White Knight, to free her from what looks like a complex, vindictive conspiracy contrived by a jealous mother and her formidable allies. Hope takes the case, and finds himself drawn into a baffling labyrinth in which the boundaries between reality and fantasy are blurred - where alleged delusion assumes and grisly outlines of murder, mutilation and impending disaster.

Ken Howard, multi-talented film, theatre and television actor, has won a Tony Award for his performance in the Broadway play Child's Play and an Emmy Award for his role in the television movie, The Body Human. He has starred in four TV series: Adam's Rib, The Manhunter, It's Not Easy, and The White Shadow, which he created form his school basketball experiences.
