Hedwig, the evil Sea Witch, wants the Amulet of Power, but Anselm, a sorcerer, has it. With the help of a power-hungry human, Hedwig thinks she has found the answer? The Pipes of Power, whose song hypnotizes anyone who hears it.
After hypnotizing the Little Mermaid and everyone else who stands in her way, Hedwig goes ashore to confront Anselm. Anselm almost falls prey to the song of the Pipes, but is saved by some helpful crabs.
